Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vör Discord bot (“the Bot”). By using the Bot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

  1. Acceptable Use
  • Do not use the Bot to harass, abuse, threaten, or otherwise harm other users or communities.
  • Do not use the Bot to engage in illegal activity, to facilitate fraud, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems.
  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the Bot’s code or data stores without explicit permission from the project maintainers.
  • The Bot’s features may only be used in servers and contexts where you have permission to run them.
  1. Moderation and Enforcement
  • Server owners and the Bot maintainers reserve the right to restrict or disable the Bot’s functionality in a server, or to block individual users, if they are found to be violating these Terms or causing disruption.
  • Actions taken by server moderators or by the Bot (for example, automated moderation actions) are the responsibility of the server’s moderators and administrators.
  1. No Warranties
  • The Bot is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • The maintainers make no warranty that the Bot will be error-free, available at all times, secure from intrusion, or suitable for any particular purpose.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainers and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Bot.
  • This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if the maintainers were advised of the possibility of such damages.
  1. Indemnification
  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Bot maintainers, contributors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Bot or violation of these Terms.
  1. Third-Party Services
  • The Bot may integrate with third-party services (for example, VirusTotal, DropReference, currency APIs). The use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
  • The Bot maintainers are not responsible for third-party services’ availability, actions, or policies.
  1. Changes to Terms
  • These Terms may be updated at any time by the project maintainers. Updated Terms will be posted in the repository’s docs and/or the project README. Continued use of the Bot after changes indicates acceptance.
  1. Contact
  • If you have questions about these Terms or need to report abuse, open an issue in the project’s repository or contact the server moderation team where the Bot is installed.
